Our invitation to you. We know that stepping into a new church building for the very first time can feel incredibly daunting. Each person in our church community was once a first-time visitor, so we all know what it’s like to be the new person! This is why we do our best to create a welcoming and warm space where everyone can feel like they belong.
Alliance is a community of Christ-followers who believe in sharing a gospel (gospel means “good news”) of grace for imperfect people. None of us is remotely perfect, but we each do our best to worship God sincerely, connect with others regularly, serve our world faithfully, and grow deeper in our understanding of Jesus and His teachings. Our invitation is for you to come see whether Alliance could be a place for you to do the same.
Worship Services
At Alliance Methodist Church, we believe worshipping together is a joy and a privilege that God has called each of us to. Our worship gatherings are a time to sing and pray together, to connect with each other, and to hear from God's Word through scripture reading and preaching.
SUNDAY AT 9:00 AM
TRADITIONAL COMMUNION SERVICE
For those who lean traditional, our 9:00 am service offers beloved hymns, affirmations of faith, and readings that have shaped our faith for generations. Additionally, each week we share in communion, which is a powerful reminder of God’s love for us.
SUNDAY AT 10:30 AM
ECLECTIC WORSHIP
SERVICE
If you’re the kind of person who enjoys a wide variety of worship music, our 10:30 am service could be a good fit. From classic hymns to modern worship songs, our talented choir and band leads us each week in a joyous time of worship. In this service, we share in communion on the first Sunday of each month.
WEDNESDAY AT 6:30 PM
LAY-LED WORSHIP
SERVICE
Each Wednesday evening throughout the school year, we have a lay-led worship service at 6:30 pm. All elements of the service are led by members of our church community, who share songs, prayers, and testimonies with those who are gathered.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Where do I go when I get to Alliance?
For a first time visit, we recommend that you enter through the double doors underneath the steeple. Before each service we have members of our church stationed there to welcome you and answer any questions you may have.
What should I wear?
Alliance doesn’t have any kind of dress code. However, our church does tend to lean on the casual side overall, so we’d encourage you to just wear what is comfortable for you.
Do you have childcare?
Yes, for our 10:30 service we provide both a nursery and children’s church. When you arrive the first time, just ask one of our volunteers to help you find those classrooms and they’ll be happy to assist you.
What if I'm not sure that I believe in God or religion?
We believe that faith is a journey, and we welcome you to take part of your journey with us. You don't have to be 100% sure of what you believe to be a part of our community. In fact, we invite you to come explore Christianity and faith in a welcoming and non-judgmental environment. We welcome questions and questioners!
How do I get more involved with your church?
